Due to recent court rulings against many Missouri municipalities for their red light camera ticket programs, drivers who paid red light camera fines may be eligible for a 20% refund of their fines if they received a ticket in one of the following cities:
Arnold, Bellerive Acres, Bel-Nor, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Bridgeton, Calverton Park, Clayton, Country Club Hills, Creve Coeur, Dellwood, Ellisville, Excelsior Springs, Ferguson, Florissant, Grandview, Hazelwood, Kansas City, Moline Acres, Northwoods, Richmond Heights, St. Ann, St. John, St. Joseph, Sugar Creek, or Washington.
Drivers who received red light camera tickets in the cities listed above before or on November 21st, 2014 are eligible for a 20% refund of the fines paid. Drivers who received a red light camera ticket in Saint Louis City on or before February 11th, 2014 may be eligible for a refund.
Eligibility depends on certain parameters and court approval of a settlement after a court hearing scheduled in March 2013 – see this website www.morlcenforcement.com for complete and official information. The deadline to file a claim is February 28th, 2015.
