The Missouri Department of Revenue handles driving records for drivers in Missouri. Residents of Missouri can request a copy of their records by contacting the DOR. You can request a copy of your records in one of several ways:
- By Mail – Include your name, driver’s license number and the correct fee and send to:
Motor Vehicle and Driver Licensing Division 301 West High Street – Room 360 Jefferson City, MO 65101
- Go to any drivers license office and pay the correct fee.
For more information on obtaining your driver’s license record, visit the DOR website.
A traffic attorney will often need your driver’s record before making a plea agreement on your traffic ticket case. Prior convictions will make it harder for a traffic attorney to have your charges reduced.
